About this course

The Home Health Aide training offered by World Wide Educating Services prepares individuals to help people with disabilities, chronic illness, or cognitive impairment with activities of daily living, in addition to help older people who need assistance. This is a certified course so as to obtain employment with hospice or certified home health agencies. All together, 76 hours of training includes 60 hours of classroom education and 16 hours of clinical instruction at a care facility. During the first 3 months, individuals will concentrate on English learning communication followed by another 3 months of Home Health Care certificate attainment.

  • Are there minimum enrollment qualifications?

    Yes. We require a minimum of either a High School Diploma, GED, or Math/Reading Level Equivalent TABE score of 8.0 or above. Additional, we require a level 4+ speaking and writing English.
